Hammerkill was a band from San Diego that I played drums and sang in. Interestingly, the guitar player Jordan was from Hagerstown as well, but I didn't actually meet him until he moved to San Diego. We did the band full-time from about 2008-2011. I always kinda thought that Hammerkill was my west coast version of Bombthreat meets Vomit Snack. The time period of this band was so much fun and so creative musically. I have very fond memories of writing all these songs with Jordan in my garage. Hammerkill still plays an occasional show every few years but has mostly been inactive. We had three different bass players - Danny Thrashteenez, Mike D and Skooter, respectively. Jordan, Skooter and myself are all also in the band Space Wax. "Let's Get Hammered" was our first release and came out in 2009. Artwork by Brian Duffy.
